The Family Resource Specialist is the first point of contact for participants at the Akin Family Resource Center, handling inquiries for resources, support, and programs. This role is crucial for the daily operations of the FRC and involves managing protected healthcare information (PHI) or confidential identifiable information (CII). The specialist will create a welcoming environment, assist participants with accessing goods, provide information on Akin programs and external resources, and make referrals to other services. Additionally, the role includes maintaining the resource room, performing data entry, and light clerical work. Depending on the location, duties may extend to welcoming families for Behavioral Health, Early Learning, and Family Support services, and responding to inquiries about these programs. The position requires performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor to support Akin's mission, vision, and values.
