The Family Resource Specialist (FRS) ensures the Developmental Center for Infant and Children's Part C Early Intervention Program (EIP) is family-centered by advocating for families of infants and young children who have, or are at risk of developing disabilities or developmental delays. The FRS establishes rapport and a continuous relationship with a family requesting this service during the child's first 3 years of life through one-on-one or small group contact. A parent that currently received services for their own children and understands those going through such difficulties is a great candidate for this role.
