About The Position

JusticeWorks YouthCare is seeking a Family Resource Navigator in Allegheny County, PA. This part-time role, with some evenings and weekends required, focuses on connecting families with essential community resources and services. The position is within the KidsFirst! program, guided by the principle of doing 'whatever it takes' to help youth and families succeed. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (required)
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
Ability to obtain and maintain required clearances
Ability to pass pre-employment and post-offer drug screening
Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

Connecting families with community resources and services to support their needs.
Assisting families in identifying and accessing resources such as housing, food programs, childcare, healthcare, and educational support.
Guide families in accessing local, county, and state resources (housing, food, healthcare, employment, childcare, financial assistance).
Advocate for families to ensure timely access to needed services.
Develop individualized service plans with clear goals and action steps.
Build strong, supportive relationships with families.
Transport clients using a personal vehicle.
