The Family Resource Navigator serves as the primary point of contact for participants accessing services through the THRIVE Center. This position plays a critical role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment while helping children, youth, and families identify their needs, access resources, and successfully connect with services. Working closely with the Program Coordinator, community partners, and participating families, the Family Resource Navigator will conduct intakes, coordinate referrals, provide resource navigation, and support participants throughout their service journey. This position will help ensure that families experience the THRIVE Center as a trusted, responsive, and accessible resource where support is coordinated across multiple systems and providers. The Family Resource Navigator will also support data collection, participant follow-up, community events, and continuous improvement efforts while helping maintain a welcoming "no wrong door" environment for all who visit the Center. We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and relationship-centered professional to support Bay Area Community Resources' (BACR) launch and operation of the THRIVE Center, an innovative community hub designed to make support simpler, warmer, and more accessible for children, youth, and families. THRIVE will integrate educational support, behavioral health care, basic needs assistance, and peer-to-peer connection under a single, trusted roof. Its mission is to make help simpler, warmer, and faster for families and their children. Various county departments and community-based organizations will sustain THRIVE as a coordinated, one-stop community center where students and their caregivers can access the full continuum of support they need to thrive during and outside of standard school hours and throughout the academic year. The THRIVE Center is being developed through a collaborative partnership among BACR, community organizations, public agencies, schools, and local leaders committed to improving access to services and strengthening outcomes for children, youth, and families. As the operator of the THRIVE Center, BACR will coordinate daily operations and partner collaboration to help ensure families experience seamless access to services, resources, and support. The Center will serve as a welcoming hub where families can access support, build connections, and navigate services through a coordinated and family-centered approach.
