From your first week, you’ll be paired with a direct supervisor who will help you navigate your new role, answer questions, and support your ongoing clinical development.

Requirements

Minimum of an LMHP, PLMHP, or a Master’s level intern within one semester of graduation required.
Must provide a reliable personal vehicle to travel as part of daily work (GLFS reimburses drive time and mileage).
Must provide your own cell phone and internet service with daily access to GLFS work email and GLFS Computer Systems.
Highly developed skills in timeliness and streamlined communication are necessary for success.
Self-motivated, empathetic, and possessing a deep understanding that families require structured guidance and clinical support to heal and thrive.
Successful completion of background checks will be required.

A personal computer, iPad, or tablet is optional but highly encouraged.

Responsibilities

Provide brief, intensive in-home therapeutic services to families identified and referred by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (NE DHHS).
Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and design tailored treatment plans.
Execute clinical interventions and facilitate ongoing discharge and aftercare planning.
Collaborate closely with NE DHHS caseworkers and GLFS Skillbuilders to assist families in developing and implementing healthier habits, relationships, and lifestyles.
Maintain timely, streamlined communication and precise clinical documentation.
Manage a flexible schedule and maintain autonomy while meeting assigned case hours and client needs.
Participate in agency meetings, consultations, and professional development opportunities to further your therapeutic expertise.
