About The Position
Family Practice Provider (MD, DO, PA, or NP) Full-Time | New Castle, Virginia Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in rural healthcare? Join our mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the beautiful mountain community of New Castle, Virginia, where you'll provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages while helping improve access to quality healthcare in an underserved community. Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physician (MD/DO), Physician Assistant (PA), or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Family Practice team at the Craig County Health Center. This full-time position offers the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients while providing a mix of chronic disease management, preventive care, and acute care services. Our providers enjoy a supportive, collaborative environment where patient care comes first.
Requirements
- MD, DO, PA, or NP licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Virginia
- Passion for rural medicine and caring for underserved communities
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages.
- Manage chronic medical conditions and preventive health services.
- Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
- Promote patient education and wellness.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
