Family Practice Physician (FPP)
About The Position
Prairie Band Health Services is looking for dedicated Family Practice Physicians to join our close-knit healthcare team at Cass Lake IHS in beautiful Cass Lake, Minnesota. This role requires a Medical Doctor (MD) with experience in Family Medicine, specifically treating both adult and pediatric patients. The position involves performing duties as assigned by a supervisor, and employees are expected to follow all job-related instructions. Indian Preference is exercised for this position, with preference given to individuals as required by the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation's Employment Code.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years' experience as a practicing provider in the last three years (residency time counts).
- Must be a Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).
- Capable of treating all ages of patients.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Family Practice/Primary care providers.
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number.
- Board eligible or board certified.
- Completion of a nationally recognized postgraduate training program in a general primary care specialty.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Must be a US citizen living primarily in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- IHS facility experience is a plus.
