This role involves providing patient-centered primary care to employees at assigned Marathon Health Centers through an Employer-Sponsored Direct Primary Care model. This model offers a smaller patient panel (800-1000 patients), allowing for longer appointment times (30-60 minutes) and fewer administrative tasks. The focus is on prevention, wellness, acute and chronic disease management, and maximizing provider-patient relationships. Providers will work collaboratively with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and utilize electronic medical records and population management tools.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of residency with professional experience in 1) Family Practice or 2) Internal Medicine + Pediatric.
- Board certification or eligibility and intent to certify required.
- Active state license required.
- CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
- Per state regulations, may be required to have a dispensing license.
- DEA preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered primary care to employees at assigned Marathon Health Centers.
- Focus on prevention and wellness, acute and chronic disease management.
- Maximize provider-patient relationships.
- Collaborate with at least two or more Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) within the organization.
- Utilize electronic medical records and population management tools.
- Proactively work with patients to prevent diseases and injuries by making lifestyle changes prior to diagnosis.
