About The Position

Marathon Health is seeking a Family Physician to provide patient-centered primary care to employees at assigned Marathon Health Centers through an Employer-Sponsored Direct Primary Care model. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice full-spectrum primary care with a smaller patient panel (800-1000 patients), allowing for longer appointment times (20-60 minutes) and a focus on prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management. The model emphasizes enhanced provider-patient relationships, aligned incentives focused on health outcomes, and an insurance-free work environment with reduced administrative tasks. Providers leverage technology for patient interaction and utilize electronic medical records and population management tools for state-of-the-art care. Physicians collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) within the organization.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited medical school.
Completion of residency in Family Practice or Internal Medicine + Pediatric.
Board certification or eligibility and intent to certify.
Active state license.
CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
Philosophical alignment with Marathon Health's care model.
Strong interest in creating a wonderful service experience for patients.

Nice To Haves

DEA preferred.
DOT Certification preferred or must obtain upon hire.
Per state regulations, may be required to have a dispensing license.
