About The Position

Marathon Health is a leading advanced primary care provider that partners with employer and union plan sponsors to improve the health of millions of Americans. We offer a value-based model that enhances the healthcare experience for members and providers while driving significant cost savings for plan sponsors. We are certified as a Great Place to Work®, reflecting our commitment to building an inclusive, high-trust culture where all employees can thrive. We provide high-quality, proactive primary care to adults and children in partnership with local employers or unions, focusing on prevention and wellness, acute and chronic disease management, and maximizing provider-patient relationships. We seek providers passionate about delivering full-spectrum primary care that results in top-notch clinical quality, outstanding service, and reduced overall health costs. Our model offers a smaller patient panel (less than half the traditional PCP panel size), more time with patients (appointments range from 20 to 60 minutes), fewer administrative and insurance-related tasks, and the opportunity to work within a team of professionals dedicated to improving the U.S. healthcare system. This role involves providing patient-centered primary care to employees at assigned Marathon Health Centers through an Employer-Sponsored Direct Primary Care model. Our model features limited patient panels (800-1000 patients), allowing for extended appointment times (30-60 minutes) without financial risk. We focus on improving health outcomes, driving patient engagement, and providing high-touch service. Our providers focus on preventive care and lifestyle changes, offering an insurance-free work environment with minimal paperwork. Technology is leveraged for patient consultations via mobile phones and secure email. We utilize electronic medical records and population management tools for state-of-the-art care, with a dedication to quality, clinical outcomes, and patient service experience. Physicians collaborate with at least two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
