About The Position
Northwest Physicians Group, the employed group of Northwest Texas Healthcare System, is recruiting a BC/BE Family Physician for a position at their Primary Care Center (PCC). The Primary Care Center is a modern, state-of-the-art clinic designed to provide high quality, compassionate care to the community and region. The new physician will be busy quickly due to a large patient panel and wait times. The PCC has 19 exam rooms, onsite x-ray, and in-house laboratory.
Requirements
- BC/BE Family Medicine required
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency required
- Active, clear Texas license and DEA or ability to obtain
- Clean professional background
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate bedside manner
Responsibilities
- Support the NWTHS mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle region
- Provide comprehensive primary and preventative care to patients of all ages
- Treat acute illnesses and manage chronic diseases
- Coordinate care including referral to specialists and other health professionals
