About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting seasoned, highly skilled Family Physicians for a Float Position supporting one of our valued client partners. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this primary care physician role. This role is designed for a flexible, high-performing physician who can seamlessly transition between in-person coverage and telemedicine, while maintaining strong clinical throughput and patient care standards.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Active California medical license
  • Active DEA license
  • Minimum 2+ years outpatient clinical experience (no new grads considered)
  • Ability to manage high-volume patient flow (3 patients per hour / 20-minute visits)
  • Strong EMR documentation skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
  • Stable and consistent employment history

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in community health or outpatient primary care settings
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency
  • Experience balancing telehealth and in-person care delivery
  • Adaptability across multiple clinic environments or locations

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care across all age groups
  • Manage acute, chronic, and preventive care needs efficiently
  • Deliver both in-person and telehealth visits depending on coverage needs
  • Support clinic continuity by covering provider absences and leave schedules
  • Maintain consistent patient flow while ensuring quality care outcomes
  • Collaborate with medical leadership and interdisciplinary teams
  • Complete accurate and compliant documentation within EMR systems
  • Support same-day telemedicine visits when not scheduled onsite
