A warm and active family relocating to Miami is seeking a capable and resourceful Family Assistant / Personal Assistant to support their busy household and personal life. The family works remotely and is looking for someone who can be a true right hand, handling everything from administrative and personal tasks to light family assistance and occasional childcare coverage alongside their full time nanny. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable managing complex logistics, coordinating travel and calendaring, and stepping in to support with children when needed. This role requires someone who is proactive, highly organized, and accustomed to wearing many hats without missing a beat. The family is looking for a long term fit and hopes to find someone they can grow with as their household evolves. This position is part time to start, with strong potential to grow into a full time role.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of personal assistant, family assistant, or household management role
  • Demonstrated experience with childcare and comfort supporting young children
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency with digital tools for scheduling, task management, and communication
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting responsibilities with ease
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions oriented mindset
  • Experience with travel coordination and household logistics
  • Minimum of 5 years of private household or personal assistant experience
  • Valid US work authorization
  • Willingness to travel with or on behalf of the family as needed
  • Strong verifiable references from comparable roles
  • Comfortable working in a home with young children

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, scheduling, appointments, and itineraries for the family
  • Coordinate travel arrangements including flights, accommodations, transportation, and packing logistics
  • Handle household logistics including vendor coordination, car maintenance, airport pickups, and special projects
  • Assist with the family’s upcoming relocation to Miami, including on-site support during the move, purchasing of items needed prior to the move (i.e. car, household supplies, etc.)
  • Source and purchase groceries and household supplies; assist with light meal prep as needed
  • Provide occasional childcare coverage and support alongside the full time nanny
  • Manage household task tracking and organization using shared digital tools
  • Handle correspondence, research, and any personal errands as needed
  • Maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism at all times
