About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Family Office Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of a private family office. This role will oversee day-to-day accounting functions while helping manage communication and financial processes across a small, collaborative team of professionals. The ideal candidate is proactive, discreet, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, confidential environment. Strong communication skills and experience with QuickBooks. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Dealership and Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus
  • Strong computer and internet skills
  • One year of experience in a business office environment
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Able to deal with confidential information appropriately
  • Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (family office, private office, or small business environment preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small team setting
  • Process-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate general ledger entries and journal postings
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and investment accounts
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
  • Coordinate with external CPAs and tax advisors during tax preparation
  • Serve as a financial point of contact for internal team members
  • Track outstanding invoices, approvals, and documentation
  • Ensure timely follow-up and organized recordkeeping across departments
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and personal information
  • Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • Support digital document management and secure file organization
