The Family Office Director serves as the central hub for overseeing the financial, legal, tax, and administrative affairs of a high-net-worth family and their multiple business ventures and family trusts. This role involves assisting with the oversight of financial matters for personal, business, and trusts, and performing various tasks including accounting and tax services, financial statement preparation, and quarterly tax estimates. The Director will act as the primary contact, coordinating with legal and tax advisors to formulate tax strategies, review strategic investments, and assist with long-term wealth planning. Key responsibilities also include coordinating with attorneys for estate planning and Trust management, maintaining estate plans, Trusts, and family legacy structures to ensure tax efficiency, regulatory compliance, and coordination of complex estate planning matters, and providing administrative services for the Trusts. The position requires serving as a trusted financial partner, collaborating with attorneys, CPAs, bankers, investment advisors, and insurance professionals to coordinate Trust administration, maximize financial performance, mitigate risk, preserve intergenerational wealth, and execute a comprehensive long-term wealth preservation and growth strategy, while also supporting intergenerational wealth planning and family governance strategy. The ideal candidate is diligent, possesses strong financial acumen, is strategic, discreet, highly organized, and has experience in accounting, financial reporting, income taxes, estate and trust matters, administrative services for various entity types including family Trusts, investment analysis (including recommendations), and wealth planning for high-net-worth individuals. The role requires a personal presence and residence in Bozeman, Montana.
