About The Position

Bartlett Wealth Management is seeking to hire a Director, Family Office Services who focuses on partnering with ultra-high net worth clients to provide Family Office Services and Investment support. This senior level role is ideal for an experienced advisor who can build a repeatable, scalable family office framework, serve as a trusted relationship manager to complex, multigenerational families, and collaborate closely with Bartlett advisors to deliver fully integrated wealth management solutions. The role will help shape the next phase of Bartlett’s growth by enhancing how the firm serves families across generations, combining investments, governance, education, and coordination, while contributing to business development and long-term firm strategy. Family Office Services Leadership Design and implement a scalable, repeatable Family Office Services structure that can be applied across multiple client relationships. Enhance service models, deliverables, and workflows related to family governance, family education, reporting, and coordination of complex services. Continuously refine FOS offerings to align with Bartlett’s investment philosophy, planning approach, and long term vision. Lead the strategic direction of Family Office Services, including driving the development, coordination, and possible future oversight of additional team members as the offering expands. Business Development & External Relationships Support organic growth of Family Office Services through professional networks and centers of influence. Build and maintain relationships with attorneys, CPAs, investment partners, and other family office professionals. Client Relationship Management Serve as the Family Office Specialist for ultra-high net worth and multigenerational families. Assist with investment solutions for clients including overall asset allocation guidance, portfolio management, market dialogue, and other investment oriented advice. Facilitate and lead family meetings, including governance, next generation education, philanthropy, and long-term vision discussions. Build strong relationships across generations, recognizing and addressing the differing needs of older and younger family members. Partner with Bartlett Wealth Advisors, planners, and investment professionals to deliver integrated advice. Investment & Advisory Collaboration Maintain a strong working knowledge of investment strategies, including public markets, alternatives, and tax aware portfolio construction. Collaborate with Bartlett’s investment team and committees, contributing insight on how complex families evaluate portfolios, managers, and structures. Translate complex investment concepts into clear, actionable guidance for families. Team Collaboration & Execution Operate within Bartlett’s team‑based advisory model, partnering closely with other advisors. Balance strategic leadership with hands‑on execution and personal ownership of client work. Contribute to internal education and mentoring around family office and investment best practices.

Requirements

  • Significant experience working with complex, multigenerational families, family offices, or ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to build or lead family office services, governance frameworks, or integrated advisory platforms.
  • Strong background in investments, estate and tax coordination, philanthropy, and family dynamics.
  • Experience serving as a primary point of contact while coordinating multiple internal and external advisors.
  • Exceptional communication skills and emotional intelligence.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced credentials - MBA, CFA, CFP, CAP, JD or equivalent preferred.
