The principal areas of focus with clients are strategic advice and planning, investment management and direct private investments. Working in partnership with families, we customize an investment process that meets their specific needs. We often serve the role of Chief Investment Officer overseeing third-party managers as well as direct private equity investments and help coordinate a variety of non-investment related needs. Our investment management services seek to provide clients the global, multi-asset, multi-manager investment platform that traditionally was only available to large institutions such as top-tier endowments and foundations. We also offer comprehensive wealth creation and legacy building services to help clients efficiently achieve their lifestyle, philanthropic and inter-generational goals. We are seeking a Family Office Services Analyst helping to ensure a seamless investor experience from an operational perspective, including investor onboarding and project management, ongoing data reconciliation, supervisory reviews and performance reporting.

Requirements

  • An ability to work proactively and independently as a member of a small, flat, cohesive team with limited supervision
  • Outstanding attention to detail, with ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting or exceeding deadlines
  • Well-developed quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in VBA for automating tasks and workflows
  • Experience with API integrations, helping to streamline processes and connect systems for improved efficiency
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point contact for technology integrations between various financial and operational platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
  • Work independently with technology vendors to identify requirements, manage expectations, and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop a deep understanding of how data is structured, stored, and transferred across different systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and assist in translating them into technical requirements for system enhancements or new integrations.
  • Serve as a client support project manager, including onboarding investor data, reconciling daily transactions and valuations, and assisting with investment team needs.
  • Prepare and verify monthly and/or quarterly performance and valuation reporting for high net-worth investors by leveraging our internal portfolio management systems
  • Prepare account opening documentation for transfers, subscriptions, redemptions and other transactions; while, coordinating information flow from managers and/or custodian banks
  • Serve as a point person for investor onboarding tasks (from an operations standpoint); ensuring execution and onboarding timelines.
  • Troubleshoot operational problems, investigate why they happened, and how they can be resolved
  • Serve as support and back-up point person for performance reporting, investment pro-formas and ad-hoc requests for the Client Team, as needed
  • Respond to internal and external ad-hoc requests
