About The Position
Heartline Staffing is seeking a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for an exceptional school-based outpatient opportunity in Floyd, Virginia. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner who enjoys autonomy, community medicine, and caring for pediatric and adolescent populations.
Requirements
- Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner REQUIRED
- Active Virginia Family Nurse Practitioner License REQUIRED
- Active DEA Registration REQUIRED
- Ability to Practice Independently REQUIRED
- Experience Caring for Pediatric & Adolescent Patients REQUIRED
- Experience Performing Minor Procedures Including Suturing REQUIRED
- Strong Clinical Assessment Skills REQUIRED
- Excellent Communication Skills REQUIRED

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries
- Provide direct outpatient care to students and school personnel
- Perform minor office procedures including suturing
- Practice independently with Medical Director support
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Coordinate care with school staff and healthcare providers
- Deliver compassionate evidence-based patient care
