About The Position
The Staff Pad has partnered with a fast-growing, highly regarded health center in Austin, Texas to hire a Family Nurse Practitioner. This organization serves multiple counties across Central Texas and is recognized among the top 20% of health centers in the United States. This is a great opportunity to join a mission-driven team providing comprehensive, patient-centered care in a supportive outpatient environment. The role offers a competitive base salary with production incentives, with earning potential above the 75th percentile annually. It is an outpatient-only family medicine practice with minimal call, requiring phone-only coverage just once per year. The position benefits from strong clinical support, maintaining a 3:1 Medical Assistant to Advanced Practice Provider ratio, and involves seeing approximately 18 or more patients per day. The health center is established, operating 27 clinics and employing over 700 team members across Central Texas, offering a fully integrated approach to patient care through services such as family medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, behavioral health, dental, and vision.
Requirements
- Board Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Eligible for Texas licensure
- Comfortable providing both in-person and virtual care
- Strong commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
- Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Manage patient care both in-person and through virtual visits
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
