Family Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
MainStreet Family Care is seeking PRN Family Nurse Practitioners to work across multiple clinics in the Forest City, North Carolina region. The role suits providers who enjoy variety, work well in a high-volume environment, and are flexible about working with different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Providers deliver urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services to patients of all ages. The work includes minor procedures, general orthopedic care, diagnostic review, and emergency management in a fast-paced setting. Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. Clinic hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, and float coverage.
Requirements
- Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.
- MSN or higher.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- EMR experience.
- Microsoft Office experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine.
- Perform minor procedures, including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
- Suture and apply splints.
- Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
- Review X-rays, with Radiologist over-read.
- Interpret EKGs.
- Treat general dermatology concerns, eye complaints, and GYN care.
- Treat patients of all ages.
- Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
- Work across multiple clinics and teams as needed.
