La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is a FQHC with several locations in Southern New Mexico. For over 40 years, La Clinica has provided services to the residents of Southern New Mexico. Requirements
- Licensed by the NM Board of Nursing to practice, or eligible for licensure.
- Board Certification in a primary care specialty.
- DEA certification
- NM Board of Pharmacy certification
- Must have a current NM Driver's License and current automobile insurance.
- Graduate from Nurse Practitioner program.
Nice To Haves
- Additional training in Primary Care preferred but not required e.g. diabetes education, women's health
- Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.
- Cultural competence with Hispanic population.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct primary care health services to LCDF patients within the scope of laws and regulations.
- Provides women services to various clinics in the southern part of the Doña Ana.
- Provides pre-natal and other women related procedures at various clinics in the southern part of the state.
