About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner in Kayenta, Arizona. This is an outpatient Family Nurse Practitioner role serving patients across the lifespan within the Navajo Nation community. It offers the opportunity to provide evidence-based primary care in a mission-driven underserved healthcare environment. The position features a collaborative multidisciplinary care model focused on long-term patient relationships and preventative care, with a strong provider support structure including built-in administrative time and manageable patient volume. The location is in the unique Southwest, surrounded by Monument Valley and culturally rich Navajo communities.
Requirements
- Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) REQUIRED
- Arizona license or ability to obtain REQUIRED
- Active DEA registration REQUIRED
- Current BLS certification REQUIRED
- Passion for underserved and culturally diverse communities REQUIRED
Nice To Haves
- Ambulatory care experience preferred
- Navajo or Spanish language skills preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver outpatient primary care services for patients of all ages
- Manage chronic and acute medical conditions within community health setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain evidence-based clinical practice standards and preventative care initiatives
- Support underserved and culturally diverse patient populations
- Maintain patient documentation and care coordination workflows
