About The Position
Well-established hospital located near Lubbock, NM is looking for a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The position focuses on health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education. The Family Nurse Practitioner will order medications and treatments, often with autonomy or in collaboration with physicians, and will diagnose and treat acute/chronic illnesses, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner
- Looking for a team player
- Pass a national certification exam from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB)
Responsibilities
- Ordering medications and treatments, often with autonomy or in collaboration with physicians.
