FNP-Walk-In Clinic-Full-Time or Part-Time
About The Position
Northeastern Rural Health Clinics (NRHC) is seeking a full-time or part-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join our walk-in clinic in Susanville, California. The FNP will provide outpatient care to patients across the lifespan for acute illnesses, minor injuries, and other non-emergency healthcare needs. Patients are seen without appointments, and daily volume varies based on walk-in demand. The walk-in clinic is open Monday through Saturday and closed on major holidays. Full-time providers may choose four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days. Schedules may include Saturdays. Providers rotate closing responsibilities. Part-time schedules may also be considered. There are no on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Graduate degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Current California RN and Nurse Practitioner credentials, or the ability to obtain them
- Current furnishing number and DEA registration, or the ability to obtain them
- Ability to meet NRHC credentialing and privileging requirements
- Commitment to providing quality care to rural and underserved patients
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient care to patients across the lifespan for acute illnesses, minor injuries, and other non-emergency healthcare needs.
- Assess and treat patients of all ages with a wide range of acute healthcare needs.
- Rotate closing responsibilities.
Benefits
- Full-time salary of $128,000–$168,000
- $50,000 sign-on bonus, depending on eligibility
