The Nurse Practitioner will provide medical oversight and medical education for behavioral health staff for residential services for adults and youth with behavioral health and substance use disorder diagnoses. Primary duties include: completing physical evaluations; medication management; identifying potential physical health concerns impacting the individual's ability to engage in treatment; consulting and collaborating with psychiatric staff, nursing staff, and other treatment team members; outreaching and collaborating with family and care givers when appropriate, as well as PCPs and other healthcare providers in the overall health management of consumers; prescribe Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) when appropriate.
