About The Position

A well-established medical practice in Ocala, Florida is seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join its primary care team. This is a full-time, permanent position in an established outpatient primary care environment.

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Active Florida APRN license or eligibility for licensure.
• DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Family Medicine, Primary Care, or outpatient experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across various age groups.
• Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, and health assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice.
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Provide preventive healthcare, wellness counseling, and patient education.
• Manage chronic conditions and promote appropriate follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
