About The Position

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide full-time coverage at Wellstar Urgent Care - Cooper Lake in Smyrna, Georgia. The role involves clinical practice of medicine, treating patients from newborns through geriatric age. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week.

Requirements

• Hold or be eligible for a Georgia state medical license.
• Have 1–2 years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.
• Be certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical medical care to patients from newborns through geriatric age.
• Perform incision and drainage procedures, suture minor lacerations, remove foreign bodies, and perform related urgent care procedures.
