About The Position

Hastings Family Medicine is seeking an Experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their busy practice. The highly diverse patient population is well cared for by a team of providers. As a member of the care team, you will join Family Medicine Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, RN Care Managers, LMSW Social Workers, Pharmacy, and a team of highly functioning support staff. To provide the best patient care, the office is open extended hours providing a flexible schedule. Lab, urgent care and imaging are conveniently located within the building.

Requirements

Master's Degree
For Nurse Practitioners: education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
3 years of relevant experience
Current, relevant clinical experience
Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner
LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
For Physician Assistants: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program
LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan
CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants

Responsibilities

Provide patient care as part of a care team including Family Medicine Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, RN Care Managers, LMSW Social Workers, and Pharmacy.
Work in a busy practice with a highly diverse patient population.
Utilize extended office hours and flexible scheduling to provide optimal patient care.
