About The Position
Marathon Health is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Vincennes, Indiana. The provider delivers relationship-based, whole-person primary care, including prevention, wellness, chronic disease management, urgent visits, and health education. Providers work autonomously and practice at the top of their license, with a smaller patient panel and appointments ranging from 20 to 60 minutes. Providers have access to resources such as UpToDate and RubiconMD at no cost to providers or patients. The role includes ongoing learning and team collaboration through regular provider meetings, journal clubs, and grand rounds. Requirements
- For Nurse Practitioners: active license and current ANCC or AANP board certification.
- For Physician Assistants: active license and current NCCPA board certification.
- CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
Nice To Haves
- Independent practice provider status, where applicable under state regulation.
- Federal DEA number; it may be required for full prescribing ability.
- Independent family practice experience, including routine wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visits.
