About The Position

Marathon Health is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Whitsett, North Carolina. The provider will deliver relationship-based, personalized primary care, including prevention, wellness, chronic disease management, acute care, and health education. Providers work autonomously and practice at the top of their license, with a focus on patient outcomes rather than patient volume or fee-for-service billing. The care model features smaller patient panels, appointments lasting 20 to 60 minutes, and fewer administrative and insurance-related tasks. Providers have access to resources such as UpToDate and RubiconMD at no charge to them or their patients. Marathon Health partners with employers and union plan sponsors and provides care through onsite, nearsite, and network health centers, as well as virtual primary care. The company describes its culture as inclusive and high-trust, guided by the principles of Patients First, Courage, Ingenuity, Community, and Fun. The compensation package is not production-based. Benefits include CME, medical license, DEA, and malpractice coverage, regular provider meetings for learning and collaboration, and competitive health benefits beginning the first day of the month after the start date. The listed pay range is $125,000 to $160,000 per year; the actual offer may vary by location and the candidate’s experience or skill level. Applications are accepted until a candidate is selected.
