About The Position

Family Navigator Team Lead, Marysville CA Full-Time Youth For Change is a non-profit, public benefit organization licensed by the state of California to provide comprehensive treatment, education, and support services for our community. The mission of Youth For Change is "to enhance the wellbeing of children, individuals, families, and communities" - and have been successfully done this for 30 years! The Family Navigator Team Lead position is full-time and works out of our Marysville CA office. The basic purpose for this position is to provide consistent and effective leadership to Differential Response team members, emphasizing meaningful engagement with families to help them identify behaviors that may place their children at risk and to support positive behavioral change through appropriate services and assistance. Services are guided by comprehensive assessments of safety, risk, and protective capacities, leading to the identification of each child’s and family’s strengths and needs. In addition to providing oversight and guidance to the team, the Team Lead also maintains an active caseload.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in applicable field (Ex: behavioral sciences, social worker, child development) and a minimum of two years of experience related to the activities related to this job position
  • AA Degree in applicable field (Ex: behavioral sciences, social work, child development) and a minimum of two years of experience related to the activities related to this job position
  • Experience interacting with families, community-based organization, and county agencies
  • Possess a valid California Driver’s License with a clear driving record for the past three (3) years.
