About The Position

Join a well-established urgent care practice that has been serving the York community for more than 25 years. As part of Piedmont Physician Network, you will work alongside experienced providers in a collaborative environment that prioritizes quality patient care, operational support, and work-life balance. This is an employed position with Piedmont Physician Network, offering an outpatient-only urgent care practice with 14-15 twelve-hour shifts per month and no call responsibilities. The practice utilizes a Physician and Nurse Practitioner staffing model on each shift, with an average patient volume of 25-50 patients per day. Opportunities include performing minor office-based procedures, occupational medicine services, interpreting X-rays, and managing a broad range of urgent care conditions. The clinic hours are Monday-Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Weekend and holiday coverage is required, with closures on Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree required
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Comfortable managing a wide variety of acute care conditions
• Ability to perform minor procedures and interpret diagnostic imaging
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Primary Care preferred
• DOT and MRO certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification
