About The Position

Urgent Care of Piedmont - York is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join a well-established urgent care practice serving the York community for over 25 years. As part of the Piedmont Physician Network, the physician will collaborate with experienced providers in an environment focused on quality patient care, operational support, and work-life balance. This is an employed, outpatient-only urgent care position with no call responsibilities. The practice utilizes a physician and nurse practitioner staffing model on each shift, seeing an average of 25-50 patients per day. The role includes performing minor office-based procedures, interpreting X-rays, and managing a broad range of urgent care conditions, including occupational medicine services.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Primary Care preferred.
• Comfortable managing a wide variety of acute care conditions.
• Ability to perform minor procedures and interpret diagnostic imaging.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

• DOT and MRO certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in an urgent care setting.
• Work alongside experienced providers in a collaborative environment.

• Work 14-15 twelve-hour shifts per month.
• Provide weekend and holiday coverage as required.
