About The Position

Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking an experienced, bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) Primary Care Physician for Renaissance Primary Care, a compassionate medical practice located in Newark’s Ironbound. The office is within a one-stop, multi-specialty medical center. The position is available full-time or part-time. The physician will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care focused on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of health conditions. The role includes outpatient care for patients of all ages and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to support optimal health outcomes.

Requirements

Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese.
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Completion of an internal medicine or family medicine residency program.
Current, non-restrictive New Jersey medical license.
Board certified or board eligible.
Strong knowledge of outpatient care practices and protocols.
Proficiency in triage techniques.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and their families.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Compassionate approach to patient care, with a focus on building trust and rapport.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses and provide appropriate treatment plans.
Perform immunizations and preventive health screenings for patients of all ages.
Provide outpatient care, including triage for urgent health concerns and follow-up appointments.
Coordinate patient care with specialists, including those in cardiology, endocrinology, and bariatrics.
Educate patients about lifestyle modifications and disease prevention strategies.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
