About The Position

Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking an experienced Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) speaking Primary Care Physician for a full or part-time position at Renaissance Primary Care, a compassionate medical practice located in Newark. This office is situated within a one-stop, multi-specialty medical center in the Ironbound. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions. This role requires a commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Requirements

Bilingual – Spanish or Portuguese
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with completion of an internal medicine or family medicine residency program.
Current non-restrictive NJ Medical License
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Strong knowledge of outpatient care practices and protocols.
Proficiency in triage techniques.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on building trust and rapport.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate treatment plans.
Perform immunizations and preventive health screenings for patients of all ages.
Provide outpatient care, including triage for urgent health concerns and follow-up appointments.
Collaborate with specialists in areas such as cardiology, endocrinology, and bariatrics to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and disease prevention strategies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
