Family Medicine Physician - College Station, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for their College Station, TX location. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility with no nights, no call, and no weekends. Physicians will become experts in wound management through training from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. The group provides bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states and offers physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid training is provided during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
- Perform clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
