Family Medicine Physician - McAllen, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a role focused on wound management in post-acute care settings. Physicians will provide bedside wound care in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. The role offers significant clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will receive specialized training in wound management from experienced trainers and have access to cutting-edge technologies and modalities. The practice is mobile, covering a 40-60 mile radius and visiting 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday
