About The Position

Aunt Martha’s Health & Wellness is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our team at our South Holland clinic. This full-time opportunity provides comprehensive, patient-centered primary care services to patients across the lifespan while supporting quality clinical operations and collaborative care delivery. This position is J-1 visa eligible.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program
  • Current and unrestricted Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Current and unrestricted DEA license
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive patient care
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Nice To Haves

  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
  • Experience working in community health or underserved populations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive family medicine and primary care services for infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients in accordance with current standards of care
  • Practice within evidence-based clinical guidelines and organizational policies
  • Obtain and document complete patient medical histories and physical examinations
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Diagnose illnesses and prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
  • Administer immunizations and provide follow-up care
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, wellness, and health maintenance
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records, clinical reports, and correspondence within the EMR
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary care collaboration
  • Work closely with clinical leadership, support staff, and care teams to ensure efficient clinic operations
  • Complete all required organizational training and compliance requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
