About The Position

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Family Medicine Physician in Baldwin, Michigan. This is an outpatient Family Medicine role focused on total patient care, chronic disease management, and preventative services. It offers a flexible four- or five-day work week supporting provider balance and lifestyle flexibility in a mission-driven rural healthcare environment serving underserved patient populations. The role includes a strong interdisciplinary support team and is located in a scenic northern Michigan community.

Requirements

• Board Certified Family Medicine Physician REQUIRED
• Clear and active Michigan medical license or ability to obtain REQUIRED
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain REQUIRED
• Strong patient-centered communication skills REQUIRED
• Comfortable managing chronic medical conditions REQUIRED
• Ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary care environment REQUIRED
• Open to supervising mid-level providers REQUIRED
• Commitment to serving rural and underserved communities REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient Family Medicine services across the lifespan
• Manage chronic disease treatment and preventative healthcare services
• Coordinate specialty referrals and continuity of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical support teams
• Supervise mid-level providers as needed
• Support mission-driven care for rural and underserved communities
