About The Position
The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician for a PRN faculty position. This role involves practicing within UT Health East Texas facilities, specifically at the UT Health Henderson campus. The physician will manage an average patient load of 12-25 per day, utilizing the EPIC EMR system. The schedule is PRN rotating, and the physician will participate in a newborn call rotation. Lab and X-ray services are available on-site.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Physician licensed in Texas.
- DEA license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a rural or underserved community setting.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services to patients in a family medicine setting.
