About The Position

Ascension Medical Group Via Christi is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join an established outpatient team in Wichita, Kansas. The team includes six physicians and four advanced practice providers, with support staff and an integrated referral network. The role is an employed position within a nonprofit health system and includes a call structure of 1:7 or a schedule format. The job location is designated as being in a Health Professional Shortage Area and/or Medically Underserved Area/Population. The physician will provide high-quality, patient-centered care through accurate diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up; collaborate with care teams on patient transitions and discharge planning; support quality and cost-effective care initiatives; and maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation. Compensation-related offerings include a $30,000 sign-on bonus, up to $10,000 in relocation assistance, RVU productivity incentives, a $3,000 CME allowance, and malpractice coverage with tail. Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts before the hire date or job transfer date.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Responsibilities
