Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Active Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Eligible for hospital privileges
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Family Medicine
  • Active, unrestricted Arizona medical license

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in outpatient Family Medicine
  • Experience providing inpatient care or an interest in maintaining hospital-based practice
  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan
  • Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions
  • Perform annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and routine physical examinations
  • Provide inpatient care as part of an integrated care model
  • Order, interpret, and review laboratory studies, imaging, and other diagnostic testing
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and hospital providers
  • Educate patients and families on preventive care, chronic disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support a collaborative team culture
