About The Position
Seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in Ashland, WI. This is an outpatient clinical role covering supplemental needs from October 1, 2026, ongoing. The physician will provide comprehensive family medicine care to patients of all ages, managing an average daily volume of 15-20 patients. Responsibilities include general family medicine, well-woman care, and pediatrics. The role operates on a full-time, flexible clinic schedule, Monday through Friday, with no inpatient or on-call duties. The physician will collaborate with onsite Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) in a team-based setting.
Requirements
- Board Eligible
- Active MN license or willing to obtain
- BLS certification
- Experience with well woman care
- Experience with toddlers (1-2 years)
- Experience with children (3-13 years)
- Experience with adolescents (13-18 years)
- Experience with general outpatient care
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient family medicine care to patients of all ages
- Collaborate with onsite Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) in a team-based setting
- Maintain a flexible clinic schedule, with ability to adjust start/stop times as needed
- Manage a patient volume of 15-20 patients per day
