This role provides leadership and medical direction for St. Tammany Physician’s Network and contributes to the development of standards of care. The physician will assess, diagnose, and treat patients at St. Tammany Physicians Network in accordance with generally accepted standards of medical care for the specialty in which they are licensed. They will also participate in the development and support of St. Tammany Physicians Network and maintain clinic schedules as noted in the contractual agreement.

Requirements

• Must be licensed by the Louisiana State board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine.
• Current BLS, and ALS certifications through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross.
• The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off (ALS required by specialty only)

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and medical direction for St. Tammany Physician’s Network.
• Provides input in the development of standards of care.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients at St. Tammany Physicians Network in accordance with generally accepted standards of medical care for the specialty in which you are licensed.
• Provide input in the development of standards of care for St. Tammany Physicians Network.
• Participate in the development and support of St. Tammany Physicians Network.
• Maintain clinic schedules as noted in contractual agreement.
