About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Family Medicine Physician in Cadillac, Michigan. This is an outpatient Family Medicine role focused on chronic disease management, preventative care, and full-spectrum primary care services. It offers a flexible four- or five-day work week supporting provider balance and schedule flexibility in a mission-driven healthcare environment serving rural and underserved communities. The role includes a strong interdisciplinary support team and is located in a Northern Michigan community surrounded by outdoor recreation opportunities.
Requirements
- Graduate from accredited school of Medicine REQUIRED
- Clear and active Michigan medical license REQUIRED
- Michigan Controlled Substance License REQUIRED
- Federal DEA license REQUIRED
- Board Certified REQUIRED
- Strong interpersonal communication skills REQUIRED
- Ability to make independent clinical judgments and decisions REQUIRED
- Comfortable supervising mid-level providers when assigned REQUIRED
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient Family Medicine services for patients of all ages
- Diagnose and manage chronic and acute medical conditions
- Coordinate specialty referrals and continuity of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and in-service education
- Support community education efforts and medical advisory functions as needed
- Utilize diagnostic, prescribing, and treatment planning responsibilities appropriately
- Supervise mid-level providers when assigned
