Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Active Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
Eligible for hospital privileges
Active, unrestricted Arizona medical license

Nice To Haves

Experience in outpatient Family Medicine
Experience providing inpatient care or an interest in maintaining hospital-based practice
Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan
Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions
Perform annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and routine physical examinations
Provide inpatient care as part of an integrated care model
Order, interpret, and review laboratory studies, imaging, and other diagnostic testing
Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications
Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and hospital providers
Educate patients and families on preventive care, chronic disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support a collaborative team culture
