About The Position
Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas is recruiting a BC/BE Family Medicine physician for a position with Northwest JO Wyatt, our community health center. This is an employed position focused on outpatient care for all ages, with an opportunity to work with underserved populations including Medicaid. The clinic offers Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, women's, and children's services.
Requirements
- BC/BE Family Medicine required
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency required
- Active, clear Texas license and DEA or ability to obtain
- Clean professional background
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate bedside manner
Responsibilities
- Support the NWTHS mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle region
- Provide comprehensive primary and preventative care to patients of all ages
- Treat acute illnesses and manage chronic diseases
- Coordinate care including referral to specialists and other health professionals
