About The Position

Partnership Health, an outpatient Family Medicine Practice, is seeking an experienced Medical Director for an outpatient office in Brick. Our office sees patients aged 2 and above and is exclusively open to the employees of the Brick Township School system. The schedule is four 10-hour weekdays from 8 am to 6 pm, with 5 hours weekly allotted for administrative time. Our offices offer onsite Family Medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, X-Ray, and Behavioral Health.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience as a Medical Director or similar senior clinical role within family medicine or primary care settings
  • Must have a valid unrestricted NJ Medical license.
  • Extensive background in managed care environments with familiarity in healthcare management strategies
  • Demonstrated expertise in EMR/EHR systems, utilization management, and clinical research methodologies
  • Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and hospital-based practices
  • Experience supervising medical teams and managing multidisciplinary staff in compliance with NCQA standards and HIPAA regulations
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations relevant to clinical practice and research activities
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Manage a panel of patients
  • Provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for family medicine services
  • Oversee medical management activities including utilization management and patient care protocols
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, NCQA standards, and FDA guidelines
  • Supervise medical staff, including physicians and support personnel, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Manage medical records and documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Lead clinical development initiatives and participate in research projects to advance family medicine practices
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to meet accreditation standards
  • Utilize EMR/EHR systems effectively for patient documentation and data analysis
  • Engage in project management activities related to healthcare delivery improvements
