About The Position
Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for their Tacoma Medical Center clinic. This 1.0 FTE position is 100% outpatient with no call required. The role offers an excellent balance of patients per day, with support from a centralized Telehealth Medical Center team for 24/7 patient support. An Inbox support team manages up to 70% of in-basket messages, and AI Scribing & Summarization is used to reduce charting time. Clinicians have instant access to dozens of specialties within an integrated healthcare model for comprehensive treatment.
Requirements
- Medical Degree MD/DO
- BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Ability to obtain Unrestricted Federal DEA
- Ability to obtain WA State Medical License

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care to patients.
- Manage follow-up instructions and patient emails.
- Connect patients with social services.
- Incorporate virtual care into practice if experienced with telehealth and digital health.
- Work with a centralized Telehealth Medical Center team to support patients 24/7.
- Utilize AI Scribing & Summarization to reduce charting time.
