About The Position
HCRC Staffing is seeking an MD or DO Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician for a growing long-term care practice serving communities in Johnstown and Somerset, Pennsylvania, approximately 40–45 minutes apart. The physician provides primary and chronic care to patients in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Independent Living communities, with dedicated clinical and administrative support. The role offers a base salary of $300,000–$325,000 plus production bonuses, with approximately 20 patient encounters per day. Scheduling can be full-time or part-time and flexible. There are no routine weekends, and call is minimal at approximately 1–2 overnight shifts per month; an in-house nocturnist team handles most overnight needs.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- DEA registration or ability to obtain it.
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care or geriatric experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality primary and chronic care to patients in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Independent Living communities.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop treatment plans.
- Collaborate with APPs, nursing teams, specialists, and families.
